Welcome to the Bihar Jharkhand Association of New England (BJANE), a cultural and charitable organization dedicated to promoting and preserving the rich heritage of Bihar and Jharkhand. Our association serves as a bridge, connecting individuals and families across New England fostering a sense of unity and belonging.

Our mission

At BJANE, our mission is to celebrate, share, and preserve the traditions of Bihar and Jharkhand. We strive to create a space where our members can engage in cultural activities, celebrate festivals, and support each other while sharing our heritage with the broader New England community.

We are also dedicated to promoting widely spoken languages like Hindi and regional languages from Bihar and Jharkhand, ensuring their relevance and continuity in the modern world. BJANE seeks to be a beacon of excellence, contributing to the revival of Bihar and Jharkhand’s historical prominence as centers of culture, knowledge, and innovation.

What we do ?

We host a range of cultural events throughout the year, including traditional celebrations such as Diwali, Makar Sankranti, Annual picnic, Holi and other major festivals. These events offer opportunities for cultural performances, social gatherings, and networking, allowing members to reconnect with their roots and share their traditions. In addition, we engage in community service projects that support the growth and well-being of our members and the local community.
